Dear Mr. Holmes:
It was indeed a pleasure having you speak with us during the principal's luncheon on Friday, February 13th. Your words of inspiration were truly uplifting and heart-warming I also appreciate your willingness to come and speak to the group of principals on such a short notice. You are definitely using your God-given talent to spread the word that we are all family, and we must all work together to keep our family in grace.
Mr. Holmes, again, thank you for your help and support you are giving to the South Dekalb YMCA After-School program.
I pray that God will continue to shower you with blessings.

To Whom It May Concern,
I had the privilege to observe Mr. Holmes at Chapel Hill Middle School. During this time, he worked with a group of middle school aged boys to help them to develop into fine young men. As I observed Mr. Holmes, the following characteristics were obvious: a positive African American male role model had high expectations: for the students and adolescent development; Mr. Holmes displayed to the students the importance of selecting their greatest potential and not giving up on their goals and aspirations. Throughout the year, the students were accountable to Mr. Holmes both academically and behaviorally.
Therefore, it is with my highest regard that I recommend Mr. Holmes to you for a position: this would allow him to work with our youth to help them Improve both academically and behaviorally. Mr. Holmes will truly be an asset to any program that deals with the development of our children.
Sincerely,
Ms. Mary S. Bostic
Assistant Principal
Columbia Middle School

Dear LeCount:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We cannot thank you enough for your participation as a program presenter in the Georgia Youth Summit to Prevent Underage Drinking last week. The goals of the Summit were met and we could not have done it without your Involvement.
The Georgia Youth Summit accomplished the desired goals of bringing together high school students from across Georgia to address the issues and identify top recommendations for prevention. These 109 students had a life-changing experience. We hope that you recognize, as we do, the significance of this event in empowering these young people to become involved in the process of changing their communities, state, and, ultimately, this nation.
Your contribution of time and talent as a member of the program team helped the Georgia Youth Summit enormously. We appreciate all of the dedication you have shown and hope that we will be able to work together again in the future.
Once again, thank you for everything!
Sincerely.
Wallace S. Woodard, Ph.D.

Dear Mr. Holmes,
We are sending this note to thank you for the inspirational speech you gave at our Founder's Day luncheon held at the Holiday Inn in Ann Arbor, April 22, 2006. Your speech was truly a "great performance" and the audience response was wonderful.
We were very appreciative of your excellent skills in communication and your ability to convey our theme, "Dedicated Women - Helping to Shape the Future" in such a convincing manner. It was superb how you incorporated your speech with audience participation, keeping an otherwise sleepy crowd wide awake and interested in what you had to say. Your expertise was profound!
Again we would like to thank you for helping us make our event a memorable one for all whoo attended the event.
Sincerely.
Joyce Adams, President
Ann Arbor NANBRWC, Inc.

Dear Mr. Holmes:
I'm writing this letter to express sincere appreciation for the service to our youth that you have provided. Despite being a world-traveled motivational/inspirational speaker, you still manage to set aside time to give back to the community in your own backyard. We were honored when you agreed to provide a program on "perceptions" for the local high school students. Not only were the students mesmerized by your oral presentation of the history of Frederick Douglass, but the fact that you were able to weave his history into modern day history and tie it all together under the broader subject of perceptions was absolutely enthralling for all of us! The media specialist and history teacher from Creekside High School were so pleased that they sent thank you letters and photos to express their appreciation, as well as to relay how impressed the students were. Please know that you have left a very positive and lasting imprint on all of us in attendance at the program.
It has been my pleasure to meet and partner with you. I am sorry to learn that you will be relocating from Fairburn, Georgia to Michigan. I'm sure you will become a valued asset to that community, as you have been for us. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Sincerely.
