What Was Then, Is It Now?
Two-Part Workshop
This diversity program will encourage stimulating and powerful dialog concerning some of America’s biggest challenges of racism and prejudice. The first part is a reenactment of Mr. Frederick Douglass by LeCount R. Holmes, Jr. He will take you on a historical and educational journey while telling the story of one of America’s greatest orators, authors and civil rights activist, Frederick Douglass, as he travels from slavery to freedom. The second part is a half-day session as Mr. Holmes returns to conduct a powerful, thought-provoking interactive workshop that includes dialog and role-play to drive home the points presented in part one. Mr. Holmes will employ the philosophy of Mr. Douglass as it relates to your organizational culture to demonstrate various ways of appreciating and embracing difference and diversity.
